2 Weeks Away from Losing Our Home

My husband lost his job over a month ago and we’ve done all we can to survive until now. we have two weeks to pay 795.00, 1 month late rent. we’ve already applied for all the assistance we can get. We’ve been working with work force solutions and applied for jobs all in our area but doors have been closed to us. I’ve been substitute teaching when i can but it’s not nearly enough. Next month we’ll lose our only remaining car if something doesn’t open up for us. Please pray for a miracle. We have a 9 yr old dt that still lives at home and I hate what this is doing to her. We have no place to go and no money to find a new place or store our furniture. Our need is desperate and tonight I’m so discouraged that praying and claiming the same scriptures is heartbreaking. I need someone else praying for us. thank you

    Lori – I empathize with you. I truly do. This weekend I walk out of my family home of 11 years. I lost my job years ago and tried everything. In the end it was not to be. What I will say to you is this…sometimes the Lord is waiting for us to stop trying to fix our problems, and waiting for us to truly trust . I KNOW it is scary- I KNOW IT. But His promises are true. The answer might not look like we think t should, but He promises to never leave or forsake you. Instead of claiming scripture, do them. Rest in His love and bring your fear to the foot of the cross. Bring all petitions to Him with thanksgiving. Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you.

    Father, You know every hair on Lori’s head. You know her situation, you know her fear. I pray right now, Lord, that You would surround Lori and her family with Your manifest, tangible love. Let her feel it like a cloak around her shoulders. Father, we are so thankful that You love us, that You sent Your Son to die for us… We are so thankful that Your Word says that although we will suffer trials, that You are always with us. I pray that Lori and her husband find peace today, teach them Lord that when they seek You, that You open doors. Lord, in these situations its is so hard to not fear, so I ask You Father that You do what You did for me. Provide peace, an answer, and an assurance of Your Hand on their lives.

    And Lord, please bless them like crazy. Even now, a new job . Even now, a vehicle for their family. And most importantly, Lord, bless them with the knowledge that You have the situation in hand. We love You so much.

    I pray God has favor and you don’t lose anything else ! God I ask you bless this house and make a way out of no way to make it safe. Lord don’t let anyone take this house from them. Lord you own the banks and you are a second chance God , please step in and help Amen
