Pray Against the Wall

Pray for me I feel sometimes there is a wall between me and God and he doesn’t listen to my prayers. I know that he knows what I need before I need it and he has a plan for me but I feel so empty that he isn’t with me, I used to feel so close to him now when I pray to him I feel like I am calling my best friend who is no longer there and there is such an empty feeling, I don’t know what to do . I try praying and feel lost please pray for me. In the name of Jesus my savior amen

He hears your prayers, even when we may feel God doesn’t hear us, His word can remind us that our heavenly Father hears our crys. Our natural self can get in they way, but have faith that He hears every word you are saying.

Psalm 55:17 Evening, morning, and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice.

Psalm 86:3 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call to you all day long….In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me.

Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Ang….I too have felt this way, for a while now but I know he is listening. He promised to never leave nor forsake us. So continue to pray, regardless of how you “feel”….ask him to fill you with his light. I sometimes find when I feel dis-engaged that he will show me he’s there in a small way…..a beautiful tree, a deer in a field, the smile on a lone childs face. If you are breathing and believe, he IS there. My prayer is with you. Don’t give up – he is our rock.
