What Are We Doing Wrong?

We have had trials beyond anything we have ever known since 9/2010. Raising 3 grandchildren. Husband lost his job. Food stamps, donations, etc. He was blessed with a job as chaplain, but pay is at the poverty level. Last year lost 2nd home, lost our car, been living on food bank. Christmas donations.

Now losing 2nd car. Husband used my car so he could get to work, the children and I missed church yesterday. We are believers. We read, we study, we pray. I serve in in 3 and 4 areas in our church. What are we doing wrong. Praying for deliverance. What are we doing wrong lord? We seek him daily. Thank you for your prayers!

    I pray that you can praise Him even in your difficult times. Blessed are those poor is spirit. Give glory and honor to the one that has still given you feet to stand on, even when we think we’ve lost everything, we must not forget God is the most important thing. He will raise you up even when we feel we are in the pit of Hell.

    I asked God to just give you a sign, small or large just enough to make you keep going. Your doing the right thing, even if God’s hand is not always entirely evident; it is ALWAYS THERE!

    Thank you all for your prayers. Yes, We are still Praising him, and as a follow up, I was BOLDY Asking God to Bless us Abundantly with a Big Miracle, and Guess what? I went to the mail Box, and we received a good size check, that we were able to pay our rent, buy some food, and Most of all, Give to Him in our Tithe & Offering. God is so good. There are just days, that you do feel like you are in the pit. And We have been having so many pit days, BUT, GOD. He always comes through when you least expect it. We praise and Thank Him for all He has done.

    Thank you for the praise report. God always comes on time. It might not be your time or my time but it will be God’s time. You mention paying your tithes and offering; excellent and yes that is the most important thing you can do. Hallelujah!!!!!!!

    You wanted to know what you were doing wrong in your prayer request. It reminded me of the story in the bible about a child who was blind and they ask Jesus who sins? They wanted to know did the parents sin or the child…and Jesus answered no one sin. So what you wrote in your prayer request that you and your family was still working for the Lord. Just remember everybody will go thru some type of seasons in their life. But God said he will deliver us from them all. Continue to keep the faith and continue to trust God and he will never leave you nor farsaken you.

    How amazing that God blessed you when you needed it most! Thank you for sharing that with us. It’s the encouragement many of us need…to see God in action, supplying your needs from sources you didn’t expect. Our Lord is an amazing God!
